I’ve been wanting to address this for a while, but haven’t. Why? Honestly, because I know it triggers some people.
But I think it’s time we all start talking about. Especially as women.
Priorities.
After working with women for the last 15 years I’ve come to realize that it’s never about not being able to afford it, but rather about your values and self worth when it comes to investing in your health. I get it, I’m a Mom too. And I understand why we say that our kids come first, I just don’t agree with it.
When I hear women every day tell me about the pain they are in, how long they’ve been struggling, how they don’t have the energy to really be present for their kids, how they don’t even want to take pictures because they’re embarrassed, how they’ve lost intimacy with their partner because they’re self conscious, it honestly hurts my heart.
But when I offer a solution that I know will change your life, and I know you know it will change your life and you say you cannot afford it. What that tells me is that you’d rather stay stuck in the place you are in rather than making yourself the priority.
So when you tell me you can’t afford it, it really tells me that you don’t think you are worth it. You don’t think you are valuable enough to be made the priority in your own life.
Personally I’ve spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to get to where I am. Not just in school, but seeking other mentors and coaches to help ME with MY HEALTH.
When I was suffering with autoimmune and hormone issues, feeling like crap every day, not sleeping, gaining weight, trying to take care of my family and my patients, I invested THOUSANDS of dollars to turn things around.
Was it easy? No. But was it worth it? Every single penny.
And I want that for you too. And I’m here for you.
But you have to be ready. Ready to put you first and make yourself the priority.
