Ladies, can we all agree that our bodies change as we age. We go through various different phases hormonally as we age.
So WHY are we comparing our bodies now to our bodies when we were 18??
It’s not the same body. Not physically, not hormonally.
And on top of comparing, why are we not embracing this shift, and supporting it with the right nutrition??
What your body needs nutritionally at 25 is not the same as what it will need at 35 or 45 or 55.
So when the things that used to work to help you slim down, aren’t working anymore is it really all that surprising? Your body is hormonally different.
You have to use different tactics based on where you are at in life!
It seems so obvious, yet I work with women ALL the time that talk about how counting calories worked for them to lose weight before, why isn’t it working anymore?
Or how come cutting carbs worked back then, but seems to have the opposite affect now?
YOUR BODY IS HORMONALY DIFFERENT
So can we all agree to stop setting goals for ourselves that compare our body now to our body 20 years ago??
Can we all agree to embrace the shift our bodies go through throughout life, and support it nutritionally?
