Why your workouts are NOT working!

Most workout programs will tell you that they have the KEY to getting results. Just do this ab exercise or that HIIT workout and you will reach all of your goals! The truth is, if your hormones are off, you won’t see results no matter how hard you work.

If your system is off balance, the first step to seeing results is to focus on those hormones. It’s essential that your estrogen and progesterone cycle is balanced – this impacts muscle growth, fat storage, rest and repair.

In addition to this, testosterone is also really important. Many women have imbalanced testosterone and this can make it extremely hard to have appropriate energy, fat loss and muscle growth.

Cortisol and adrenal function is often a huge factor when it comes to physical results and many women don’t realize that they have a stress issue. Cortisol that is too high or too low can negatively impact your performance and recovery.

These are just a few things that can be at play. Gut health, thyroid, birth control, trauma, etc. are other things to address when you are wanting to achieve sustainable results.

So where do you start?

I recommend getting started with a DUTCH hormone test, which is the first step of my 12 week program. This is an easy, at home, urine test that will show you what is going on with your estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, cortisol and more!

Once we have your results, I will create a unique protocol and work with you to reach your goals. There are specific tactics that we utilize during the 12 week program to maximize fat burning and hormone regulation in both phases of your cycle. This includes a supplement protocol, carb cycling, fasting, warming and cooling foods, varied workouts, and more.
