Eating the same way day after day, week after week, might sound like a convenient and easy way to stay consistent with your goals.
This is actually WORSE for your body, metabolism and results.
When you eat the same nutrients/meals throughout the month, you are not taking into account your hormonal changes and physical needs from week to week.
This is the issue with most diets – they are not designed to accommodate the female cycle!
For example, during your estrogen phase (days 1 – 14 of your cycle), your body can burn through and needs more CARBS! Your metabolism is revved and ready to go and you can maximize your fat burning with your nutrition.
During your progesterone phase (days 15-28), your body needs more FATS, MINERALS and HYDRATION. Your metabolism needs some extra attention and your body needs more nutrients and rest.
If you ignore these phases, and just try to “eat clean” you are missing a big piece of the puzzle.
This is why I incorporate eating for your cycle into the 12 week program. Working with your body, hormones and metabolism will help you with those long term results and you will FEEL better doing it.
