Let’s talk about “cheat meals”!

I actually really don’t like the term “cheat meal” because it giving a negative connotation to those foods and its that all or nothing mindset.

The mindset around cheat meals is about being really strict most of the time and then picking a time to completely crazy with your diet.

The goal should be to get your body to a place where your metabolism can burn through different things, even if they are not the “cleanest” choice.

So let’s just call it a meal! There will be days and events where you may eat more carbs or sugar or fats and that is completely normal and can fit into your overall lifestyle!

These days and foods can be planned into your nutrition and it isn’t cheating! If you know you will have a high carb day coming up, you can shift and adjust what you are eating leading up to it to maximize your metabolism and feel your best.

The goal is to shift the mindset from “bad” and “good” foods to a balance of nutrients that help you achieve your results. And this balance can include all foods!

Most of the time, women need a plan that is customized to their lifestyle, health history, goals and needs! This is why I offer individual coaching.

When you work with me, I teach you how to fuel your body so you can achieve your goals AND enjoy balance in your life!
