Top 3 Weight Loss Mistakes

Are you making these mistakes??????

Let’s dive right into the top three mistakes that most women make when trying to lose weight!

1. Expectations: many women are following a plan or protocol that is actually not set up for the female body, or even their body individually! The history of research on nutrition and fitness has been primarily dominated by a male perspective and testing on male bodies. All the benchmarks and expectations are set up for men, and yet women are comparing their bodies to these standards.

2. Skipping Meals: this is a huuuuge mistake for the female body! Fasting for the female body is very specific and I teach this in the 12 week program, but its not just skipping meals! It might seem like eating less would help with burning fat, but in reality you are slowing down your metabolism. This essentially makes it harder for you to burn fat moving forward!

3. Artificial Sweeteners: Just because something has zero sugar does not mean its ok for the female body! The artificial sweeteners and products that are marketed as “healthy” for women are actually destroying your gut! This includes sugar free gum that contains ingredients like aspartame. There are cleaner alternatives like the brand PUR.

Once you have addressed these issues, its important to replace them with a protocol that WILL work with your body!

This is how I designed the 12 week program – a 12 week, step by step protocol to help you gain control of your body again. This includes boosting your metabolism, balancing your hormones, following your natural cycle, improving your sleep, diminishing your stress, and burning fat, just to name a few.
