Are you overfed and undernourished??

It’s super easy to be caught in these “health traps” and marketing that makes us think that something we consume is healthy or natural, when really it is just empty calories.

There is a lot of misconception when it comes to our food quality and what goes into our food. When you actually look behind the marketing and read the food label, there are so many “healthy” foods that will actually do more harm!

Do you remember the low fat fad?! I remember eating fat free dip with carrots, thinking that it was healthy and good for me! But the dip was essentially empty calories. It didn’t have protein and there is actually no nutrient value that it provides.

When your body receives empty calories, it actually creates a chemical response in the brain. It tells your brain that you aren’t actually being satisfied because you aren’t actually getting nutrients! So it signals you to need more food. You will end up eating more, binging more, and craving more foods!

Nutrient depletion is a big issue and most women don’t even realize it is affecting them! You might find that your metabolism is slower, your hormones are disrupted and you have a very high stress response in your body.

You may be working out and really trying to focus on your health, but unless you are getting the right nutrients and in the right amounts, your system will backfire.

This is a huge aspect I focus on in my 12 Week program. I set up specific nutrient guidelines to fully nourish your individual body.
