Hormone test: blood vs urine

My blood test came back “normal” and I still have symptoms????

So many women get a hormone blood test and are told their levels are fine… but they don’t feel fine!

That’s because the blood levels only give a snapshot of whats going in your body. That’s why I love doing the DUTCH hormone test – it tests your urine which gives you a deeper look!

So why is this different from your blood? What’s free floating and used in your blood system are sometimes bound or not bound, and its taking a snapshot of what is there at that time.

Testing your urine shows you the metabolic pathways of what is happening in your system and how its being processed!

I just had a DUTCH test consult today with a women who had been told by her doctors that she was fine. But she still had horrible PMS and was gaining weight (while eating clean!) and needed answers.

After we went over her DUTCH results, we saw some major issues with the metabolism of her cortisol. From there we created a plan so that she can target these issues at the root!

If you feel like you are doing all the right things and still feel miserable and don’t have results, a DUTCH test is going to be a great next step.

Whatever shows up in your test, I will work with you to create a plan that resolves these imbalances.

It will be individualized so that you can target exactly where the hormonal issues start. And the best part – you can do it with whole foods and natural supplements!
