Most practitioners operate within a single appointment model. You get 30 to 60 minutes, a handful of labs, a protocol, and a “see you in three months.” There’s no ongoing adjustment, no phased clinical sequence, and no one tracking whether the protocol is actually working between visits. What if I already have labs? Do I need to re-take them?
Possibly not. If you have recent, comprehensive panels (DUTCH, GI-MAP, full thyroid, metabolic markers), we’ll review what you already have before ordering anything new. But here’s what we usually find: most women have had incomplete testing. A single hormone blood draw on a random cycle day. A basic thyroid panel that only checked TSH. A stool test that wasn’t the GI-MAP. The issue is rarely that you’ve been tested too much. It’s that the testing wasn’t comprehensive enough, wasn’t timed correctly, or (most commonly) no one read the results together as one connected picture. We’ll never order labs you don’t need. How much time do I have to dedicate each week?
This is not a full-time job. You’re not spending hours meal prepping elaborate recipes or overhauling your entire life on day one. Most weeks, the active time commitment is two to three hours: following your nutrition framework, taking your supplements, and implementing the lifestyle shifts in your protocol. Check-in calls happen every three weeks and last about 30 minutes. The program is designed for women with full lives, demanding jobs, and limited bandwidth. If you had unlimited free time, you probably wouldn’t need this level of support in the first place.
What if I am on birth control or HRT
You can absolutely do this program while on birth control or hormone replacement therapy. We work with women on both regularly. There are a few things to know: hormonal birth control does affect what we can and can’t assess on certain lab panels (for example, a DUTCH test while on the pill won’t show us your natural hormone production). That doesn’t mean we can’t get valuable data. It just means we adjust which labs we prioritize and how we interpret results. We’ll focus on the systems we CAN fully assess (gut health, nutrient status, cortisol, metabolic markers, inflammation) and build your protocol around what’s actionable now. If you’re on HRT, we can still evaluate how well your body is metabolizing and clearing those hormones, which most prescribing doctors never test for. Whether you plan to stay on birth control or HRT, come off it eventually, or aren’t sure yet, the program meets you where you are. We don’t make that decision for you. We make sure the rest of your health is optimized regardless.
What if I don't want to take medication or HRT?
This program is not a medication program. We don’t prescribe pharmaceuticals or HRT. Everything we work with falls into the functional and nutritional space: targeted supplementation based on lab-confirmed needs, therapeutic nutrition, gut repair protocols, lifestyle and nervous system support, and cycle-synced strategies. Our goal is to give your body what it needs to produce, metabolize, and clear hormones on its own, rather than overriding the system with external hormones. That said, we’re not anti-medication or anti-HRT as a philosophy. If your labs or symptoms suggest that pharmaceutical support might be warranted, we’ll have an honest conversation about it and refer you to a prescribing provider if you choose to explore that route. What if I have a condition my Doctor is already managing?
