Maybe you know your hormones are playing a role, but are unsure of how much of a role.
You may be feeling frustrated and confused or like you have lost control of your own body.
If you don’t know the root cause of a symptom, its hard to address it.
DUTCH & thyroid testing is the most comprehensive way to determine what’s going on, and where things might be going wrong.
So you can start to make a plan to address the root cause moving forward, and not just the symptom.
The most comprehensive hormone testing for women
You may need a DUTCH + thyroid test if:
Most hormone tests just give you a look at a snapshot in time. They may indicate if something is high or low, but not how it got to be that way.
DUTCH + thyroid testing will walk you through step by step how your hormones are functioning through the body.
This can tell us exactly where things may be going wrong, and what to do about it.
Choose the payment plan that works best for you.
Once ordered, we will ship the tests directly to your house for you to take.
Once you receive the tests you will find a pamphlet with all of the information you need to know on taking the test.
Take your time, read through the information and prep to take the test.
Once complete, you will mail the kits back.
Once we receive your test results back we will contact you to set up your 60 minute consult with one of our Doctors.
At that time we will go through your results and make recommendations for you going forward.
If you are experiencing any of the symptoms I listed above, a hormone testing can help you to figure out why and what you can do about it.
Once we receive the test back from you it can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks to get results back.
In your testing kits we provide an in depth explanation of how to take the test and when. If you have any questions on this you can send me an email!
If you are having a regular cycle you will take the test between days 19-22 of your cycle. If your cycle is longer, add the number of days you go beyond 28. If your cycle is shorter you will subtract those days. For irregular cycles I recommend using an ovulation kit to determine when ovulation occurs and testing 5-8 days after. For non-cycling or menopausal women the test can be taken at any time.
Unfortunately, no. Insurance typically only covers blood testing. However, we can give you a receipt for reimbursement and you can use an HSA card.
On your 60 minute call with one of our Doctors they will take you through your results in depth. We will take a look at where things may be going wrong and make recommendations for you moving forward. After your consultation you will receive a follow up email that details out your results, and provides an initial protocol for you to get started on.
